Best Places to Visit In South Korea
Best Places To Visit In South Korea
When talk about Korea, what will be the first thing came out of your mind??
For most of the teenager will be KPOP, right??
But now i will share about the best places to visit in Korea during Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and at anytime.
Why must go to Yeouido Park during Spring? What is the different during Spring with other season?
During Spring, Cherry Blossom spotting in Yeouido Park. Seoul's lesser known Cherry Blossom Festival in the beginning of April, though not as massive as Japan's - Seoul's cherry blossoms are just as good. In fact, Seoul boasts a 160 km of flower filled roadside that connects 36 park paths, 29 roadside paths and 31 riverside paths. And do you know what is good to do here? Bring your partner and relive those K-drama scenes *bring in the wedding bells*. Just an idea, no pressure.
Summer! What is about Summer? For me, Summer means, beaches, sand and the beautiful sea.
When people look for beaches during the summer, they usually head to Korea's iconic beach city, Busan. Busan is a seaport surrounded by several beaches. The most beautiful of them is the Haeundae beach. It is well worth
visiting in the summer as well as the winter. During wintertime, it is a beautiful place to go for a walk, with packs of seagulls overhead. The beach is busy year round with several kinds of beach festivals and visitors from in and out from the country. Dongbaekseom (Dongbaek Island), located at the south end of the beach, offers a view of the sea by car and its coastline is famous for fishing. Haeundae beach is one of the most popular spots in Busan to view the first sunrise of the year on January 1, with around a thousand gathering before dawn.
Nami Island I mean, how can you miss this?
Nami Island is arguably the most famous landmark in South Korea. Anyone who is a K-drama fan will swoon over Nami Island's picture perfect fantasy land where women's expectations about love are met. Just kidding. But it definitely a must see attraction in Seoul during autumn when the tree leaves grew into shades of gold, yellow, red, crimson and
orange.
PARK
"Let it go, Let it go, can't hold it back anymore."
When mention winter i will think about FROZEN this movie. The scenery i like the most is the snow mountain in the movie. Although it is fake, but it is the scenery i like the most.
So when think of winter, i would like to suggest Snowboarding at Phoenix and Vivaldi Park in Korea. Phoenix Park is a two hour drive from Seoul that is the friendliest amongst other parks since it is good for beginners, there are various slopes available, from basic to experts. Vivaldi Park is one hour away from Seoul, however it attracts mostly the young crowd and it might get frustrating since waiting time can take longer than expected, slopes are in good shape though.
For who are one of those living in a tropical country, this is just a must do in Seoul.
Must Go Places in Seoul Anytime of the Year
Myeongdong Market is a mecca for Shopaholics.
You can find almost anything there, and it's especially good for shopping for clothes, shoes and accessories - from international brands to local Korean brands. There are also many Korean Local food.
COEX MALL
One of the biggest malls in Asia, Coex Mall also has the distinction of having multiple levels underground. You can shop until you drop here, but if you get tired of shopping, you can always hang out at the food court, watch a movie, or observe the fish in the aquarium. Best of all, it is located in Gangnam, oppa Gangnam style!
Everland is Korea's version of Disneyland, which has five divisions namely, Global Fair, Magic Land, American Adventure, European Adventure and Zootopia. The great thing about Everland is in an hour away from Gangnam and during the summer, DJs and singers perform live.
Lotte World, on the other hand, is one of the largest indoor theme parks in the world. Not only that, it has an outdoor amusement park, a shopping complex, movie houses, a folk museum, even a luxury hotel. Both Everland and Lotte World are South Korea's answer to Disneyland and Universal Studios.
